Expert care explained (FAQ)
FAQ: Detailing Services, Care, and Protection
What types of items do you detail?
We work on cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, RVs, and a variety of personal items (helmets, leather goods, gear, etc.). If you’re unsure whether we can handle your item, just ask — we’re happy to consult.
How do I schedule a detail or get a quote?
You can fill out the contact form on our site, call or text us, or request a consultation. We often respond within a few hours (or sooner).
Do I need to bring my item to you, or do you come to me?
We offer mobile service, where we come to your location (home, office, marina, etc.). If your environment isn’t suitable (lack of space, no water/power), we may also provide a drop-off option (depending on region).
What do you need from me for mobile service?
We typically need:
Adequate space to work around the item
Access to water and power (within ~75 ft)
The item to be off public streets (if vehicle)
Keys (for vehicles) for operations like rolling windows, seat movement, etc.
Do I need to stay on-site while you service my item?
Not necessarily. If we have all the details and access, we can complete the service and return your item, send invoice via email, etc.
How long will the detailing take?
Duration depends on what’s being done (wash, full interior & exterior, corrections, coatings). Light detail jobs might take a few hours; more intensive jobs (paint correction, coatings) may take one or more days.
What’s the difference between a regular detail and applying a ceramic coating?
Detailing restores and cleans surfaces (wash, polish, cleaning interior, etc.).
Ceramic coatings add a durable protective layer that enhances gloss, repels contaminants, and reduces maintenance frequency.
How soon can I wash or expose the item to elements after a ceramic coating?
Generally, you should wait at least 1–2 weeks before a full wash. (Exact time may vary depending on the coating product used.)
What’s your pricing structure?
Prices depend on:
Type and size of the item (car, boat, motorcycle, etc.)
Condition / how badly it needs restoration
Add-ons like coatings, paint correction, odor removal, etc.
Always get a custom quote—price ranges alone are approximate.
What happens if I’m not satisfied with the result?
We stand by our work. If you’re unhappy with any detail, contact us within a designated period, and we’ll make it right.
Do you service commercial/fleet clients?
Yes — we often work with businesses, fleets, boats, and specialty projects. Ask about custom pricing and scheduling.
How do I prepare my item before detailing?
- Remove personal items, clutter, trash, loose objects
- Pre-treat stained areas or spills (if practical)
- Ensure the item is accessible
- Communicate any problem areas or concerns in advance
Are there things you do not detail
In many cases, yes—we can hold for a short grace period (e.g. 7 days). After that, a storage fee may apply (depending on space and terms).
Do you store the item if I can’t pick it up immediately?
Detailing restores and cleans surfaces (wash, polish, cleaning interior, etc.).
Ceramic coatings add a durable protective layer that enhances gloss, repels contaminants, and reduces maintenance frequency.
