FAQ: Detailing Services, Care, and Protection

What types of items do you detail?

We work on cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, RVs, and a variety of personal items (helmets, leather goods, gear, etc.). If you’re unsure whether we can handle your item, just ask — we’re happy to consult.

You can fill out the contact form on our site, call or text us, or request a consultation. We often respond within a few hours (or sooner).

We offer mobile service, where we come to your location (home, office, marina, etc.). If your environment isn’t suitable (lack of space, no water/power), we may also provide a drop-off option (depending on region).

We typically need:

  • Adequate space to work around the item

  • Access to water and power (within ~75 ft)

  • The item to be off public streets (if vehicle)

  • Keys (for vehicles) for operations like rolling windows, seat movement, etc.

Not necessarily. If we have all the details and access, we can complete the service and return your item, send invoice via email, etc.

Duration depends on what’s being done (wash, full interior & exterior, corrections, coatings). Light detail jobs might take a few hours; more intensive jobs (paint correction, coatings) may take one or more days.

  • Detailing restores and cleans surfaces (wash, polish, cleaning interior, etc.).

  • Ceramic coatings add a durable protective layer that enhances gloss, repels contaminants, and reduces maintenance frequency.

  • Generally, you should wait at least 1–2 weeks before a full wash. (Exact time may vary depending on the coating product used.)

  • Prices depend on:

    • Type and size of the item (car, boat, motorcycle, etc.)

    • Condition / how badly it needs restoration

    • Add-ons like coatings, paint correction, odor removal, etc.
Always get a custom quote—price ranges alone are approximate.

We stand by our work. If you’re unhappy with any detail, contact us within a designated period, and we’ll make it right.

Yes — we often work with businesses, fleets, boats, and specialty projects. Ask about custom pricing and scheduling.

  1. Remove personal items, clutter, trash, loose objects
  2. Pre-treat stained areas or spills (if practical)
  3. Ensure the item is accessible
  4. Communicate any problem areas or concerns in advance

In many cases, yes—we can hold for a short grace period (e.g. 7 days). After that, a storage fee may apply (depending on space and terms).
